Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration, HTML newsletter campaign, Blog, Mobile version

Description

Newland Chase specialist immigration lawyers needed their site completely redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up.  Their new site was built around ExpressionEngine and included an HTML 5 / Javascript interactive map to demonstrate the territories they deal with.  They also had a mobile stylesheet created to target smartphone browsers.

Michael’s work on our website was of the highest standard from the design and planning stages through to post-build support.  We were impressed by the creativity and attention to detail of his designs, along with his receptiveness to our own ideas, and we are delighted with our new site.  Michael was always extremely helpful and his rapid responses to our queries made the whole process incredibly quick and unproblematic! Tasks

Wireframes, Front-end design, Photography, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

The Walker Pritchard Partnership came to me in search of a complete redesign of their existing website which they felt was looking out-dated and tired.  The process started with a set of wireframes which helped generate the basic structure of the site.  I then used these to complete a full set of designs before building the site on Expressionengine.

Tasks

Design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

With a growing number of high profile public commissions under his belt, Tom 'Carver' Harvey needed a website that would encourage people to visit his sculptures in-situ whilst providing information and inspiration to anyone considering a commission of their own.  The site includes an interactive flash driven sculpture trail to allow visitors to pin-point nearby sculptures on a map of the UK and a guestbook to register their feedback.

My business has benefited hugely from the website that Mike built for me, it looks very professional and really stands out compared to other sites. He has come up with some really innovative ways of promoting my work, great stuff. Tom Harvey, Sculptor

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build

Description

QIQ approached me to design the UI for their iPad queue management system.  I presented both a multi-pane and tabbed interface with the latter being developed for the final product.  The front-end build made extensive use of the iPad's CSS 3 and HTML 5 capabilities.

The designs produced by Siblify took into account all of our requirements and anything we missed was gently brought to our attention by Michael. We knew the functionality required but lacked experience in user interface design and all of the pitfalls that go with it. Siblify talked us through our project and how it was going to progress, putting us at ease every step of the way. There was great care and attention paid to our feedback and we felt Michael truly became part of the team. Founder & Director, QIQ

Tasks

Design, Front-end build, CMS integration, Illustrated floor plans

Description

I was asked to develop a new website for this exclusive Cotswold retreat that was both simple to use and simple to manage.  It was important to get across in the designs the sense of tranquility and natural environment that is the cottage's main selling point.  Features included a content managed availability planner with a front-end diary and catorgorised image gallery.

The pricing arrangement was set out clearly so I knew what the total expenditure would be at the outset with no hidden extras. I am delighted with the result which really shows our joint collaboration and exchange of ideas. Your artist creativity was clearly as important, for me, as your web design expertise. Tasks

Wireframes, Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration, iPhone specific version

Description

With a significant number of hits to my site now coming from iPhones I decided it was worth investing the time in creating an iPhone specific version of the site.  The content remained more or less the same but the layout was adapted to make the site easy to access from the smaller screen and some adaptations were made to account for screen orientation.  A launch icon was also added to the site for iPhone users who add my site to their homescreen.

Tasks

Wireframes, Front-end design

Description

Betty Twyford needed a full redesign and build as they were not happy with the conversion performance of their existing site.  Their products are firmly centered around a 50's / retro theme so it was important to reflect this strongly in the designs and colour scheme.

Unfortunately this website never moved beyond the design stage due to strategic changes within the company.

We have been very pleased with the work you did.... Thank you for your prompt and professional service. Ian Norman, Betty Twyford

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

Priors Park Chapel needed a simple content managed website in order to keep the congregation up-to-date with events, talks and notices and to provide service times and location information.

Due to the simple nature of the content I came up with a one page solution which uses Javascript to present windows of information.  I was keen to make the site clean and modern to appeal to a new generation of church goers whilst making it bold and legible for the elderly members of the congregation.

Description

I wanted a really clean and gallery-like website to present my paintings online.  Whilst on the whole I wanted to keep things really simple, I did indulge in a zoomify gallery to enable users to get up close to my paintings which was essential due to the detailed nature of the work.

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

Copthorn Caravans wanted a simple site to both advertise their presence and to sell vans from their site.  I went for a bright and cheerful design to reflect the holiday spirit of their business and created the site around an easy to use CMS which allowed them to update the image gallery and add new vans to the listings as needed.

Creating a website for our business was a straightforward process thanks to Siblify's expert advice, creative design work and quick response to any glitches. Richard Leney, Copthorne Caravans

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

When Holy Trinity Tewkesbury decided they needed a content driven website to replace their old site I offered to help.  The CMS needed to manage and store sermons, notices, newsletters and images in an easy-to-access way.  Accessibility was also a keen issue as I knew that I would be judged by a visually impaired member of the congregation who happens to be an expert in assistive software and web standards.  I'm glad to say I passed!

We're thrilled with our new church website, it’s bright, attractive and easy to navigate. Just as importantly, it’s very easy to operate. Mike provided a first class service and was very helpful and approachable throughout. Donna Bailey, Church Administrator

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

When Ade Gascoyne asked me to design his website, his main requirement was that the new site would appeal to the high-end clients he was starting to attract. As a maker of top specification kitchens and furniture he knew that his original 'cheap and cheerful' site didn't match the level of quality that his clients would expect from his workmanship so my mission was to make a site that was more in inline with his level of skill.  Ade has now left carpentry to become a full time preacher hence the lack of a live link!

Vale Academy

Tasks

Wireframes, Front-end design, Front-end build, CMS integration

Description

This website was a white label site commissioned by a PR and marketing agency who granted me permission to exhibit it on this site provided it was rebranded and no links made to the live site.

The actual Academy was a specialist Technology College so they wanted a website which refelected a modern 'techno' feel with a few gimmicky features to catch the attention of the pupils.  The dynamic snap polls on the homepage coupled with the ipod style gallery navigation ensured it became one of my most heavily used sites to date.

West End in Schools needed a new website that would appeal to both teachers and pupils. I worked on creating them a new logo which was then the starting point for these designs.  The site was to be fully content managed using Expressionengine.

Michael was creative, fast and helpful - and I hope we will continue to develop the site together in future. Nigel Godfrey, West End in Schools

Icthus Signs

Tasks

Front-end design, Front-end build

Description

Icthus Signs is a large format Christian banner printing company based in Coventry. They deal with both bespoke print and pre-designed banners and needed a website both to present their designs to potential customers and to enable the upload of artwork for printing. Usability was the key for this site as they have a few different services on offer and it would be easy for them to become confused.
